Candidate for Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia, PennsylvaniaWilliam B. Considine currently attends the University of Pennsylvania, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in American Public Policy. William B. Considine has completed courses in econometrics, monetary and fiscal policy, health care economics, international finance, corporate finances, accounting, statistics, and several other economics and social policy courses. In 2009, he participated in a language immersion program for Spanish in Alicante, Spain. He maintains an active role in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a fraternity that advocates fellowship, scholarship, leadership, and service. An alumnus of The Albany Academy, William B. Considine was selected to join the Cum Laude Society, a school organization committed to honoring academic achievement in high schools. Involved in a variety of activities at his high school, William B. Considine earned recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction and received a National Merit Commendation. A member of the school’s golf team, he initiated a bi-annual golfing expedition to Ireland or Scotland. The first year the trips began, he and the rest of The Albany Academy Golf Team traveled to Ireland and played Lahinch, Old Head, and Ballybunion. In 2007, he served as the varsity team’s captain. Throughout his four years at the school, William B. Considine was elected to Student Council Treasurer and served as the Director of House Leadership Program. Noted for his involvement with the school, William B. Considine was invited to accept an award on behalf of The Albany Academies for its community service works given by the Northeast Parent and Child Association. William B. Considine's Schools
