Having founded Elevate Communications in 2008, Wright Thurston initially served as the company’s CEO before taking on the role of Chairman.

Wright Thurston previously served as President of Firstline Security, Inc, the home security company he founded in 2002. Passionate about providing the best in home and family protection, Wright Thurston channeled every aspect of his entrepreneurial experience into making the company a success. The finalist of the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Wright Thurston drove the company to distinction as the “Fastest Growing Alarm Company in the Nation” within just two years. In 2006, Wright Thurston’s valuable leadership led to over $42 million in revenues and a coveted place on the Inc. 500 list.

Wright Thurston has demonstrated a flair for leadership and unparalleled business acumen from a young age. As a salesman starting out with Melaleuca, Inc, Wright Thurston impressed colleagues and managers alike by assisting in the recruitment of over 1,000 new distributors. Committed to propelling himself toward success through hard work, Wright Thurston next purchased several retail stores. After managing the stores for several years, Wright Thurston sold them to Omniserve Wireless and went on to his next venture. Harboring an interest in the cellular phone industry, Wright Thurston established Future Phones. Through Future Phones, Wright Thurston created an original business plan that combined the technology of the Internet and direct fulfillment shipping. Future Phones became the largest direct sales company for VoiceStream Wireless within 18 months.

In his limited spare time, Wright Thurston enjoys spending time outdoors. Among his favorite hobbies are tennis, basketball, and surfing. Wright Thurston also enjoys relaxing with his family and friends.
