Yasumasa Kikuchi is a financial industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. The firm provides advice to its corporate clients on a variety of topics, including strategic planning, funding, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory and compliance matters. Mr. Kikuchi’s entry into the financial world began shortly after graduate school.

Yasumasa Kikuchi was educated at Columbia University and Johns Hopkins University. While earning his Master’s degree in History at Johns Hopkins, he also taught political science and history classes. After graduation, Mr. Kikuchi then commenced his career in the financial industry at Sumitomo Mitsui Bank, where he progressed from Assistant Vice President in the Capital Markets Division to Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager in charge of Corporate and Investment Banking Groups in New York. During his tenure, he handled debt and equity funding, mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund investments, risk management, and investor relations.

In 1999, Mr. Kikuchi was offered a position with Wachovia Bank as Senior Vice President and Managing Director in the International Corporate Group. During his three year assignment, he oversaw corporate finance transactions with a focus on the Asian market. By employing his extensive experience in corporate finance, his group generated $16 million in profit during this period. In 2002, Mr. Kikuchi’s expertise in corporate and investment banking led him to open his own firm, Pacific Rim Partners.

With a wealth of experience and a reputation for generating profits, Yasumasa Kikuchi continues to provide strategic advice to corporate clients at Pacific Rim Partners. When he is not engaged in his business, he spends time with his wife and daughter in charitable pursuits such as the American and International Red Cross; Philabundance, a food bank in Philadelphia; and the Salvation Army.
