Real estate development professional Yizhak Toledano is the CEO of Sky Development Inc, an Aventura, Florida based firm that he established in 2006. Formerly known as Skyrise Development Group, the company is in the business of asset management, market assessment, acquisitions and restructuring of private and commercial properties and incentive strategies. The successful business benefits from his hands-on style of management both with his projects and with his long-time trusted employees. As a market visionary, he has entered a new phase of mixed-use urban community development. As he sees it, there is a great need for office space located within residential areas. He was the first to bring such a mixed-use community to Aventura, City Park Aventura. The project includes residential buildings, a hotel, office space and stores, offering residents a complete community. For his part in planning and implementing the project, Yizhak Toledano was awarded the 2007 Visionary Development Award.

Finance Professional

The Marquis Bank, in business since 2007, offers loans to smaller businesses and specializes in private banking needs. As one of the shareholders invested in the bank, Yizhak Toledano owns a 9.9% interest. In addition, he sits on the bank’s Advisory Board of Directors.

Philanthropy

Yizhak Toledano donated $3 million to help finance an expansion project at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation. The nonprofit foundation promotes health care to children through Memorial Healthcare. The donation was the largest amount ever given to the foundation by one person. He also makes donations to K’far Chabad, an organization in Israel.

Personal History

As a resident of Israel, Yizhak Toledano served in the Israel Defense Forces after high school. Upon completion of his military service, he worked in his family’s general contracting company for seven years. He moved to the US, where he now resides, with his wife and six children.
