Mr. Zane Quazzani attended a two-year acting program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, New York. Founded in 1949, the school is dedicated to training tomorrow’s film and theater actors. Since 1969, the Stella Adler Studio has led as the only professional school affiliated with New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. At present, the school provides Professional Actor Training courses, an Outreach Division that offers free coursework for low income and other inner-city youth, and the Harold Clurman Art Series, which funds free cultural events that are open to the public. Recently, notable actors and artists like Julianne Moore, Harold Bloom, Mark Strand, and David Amram have been active in the series.

The teaching philosophy at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting holds that growth as an actor equates to growth as a human. To that end, the school focuses on nourishing the human imagination, providing students with the main tool needed to bring a script to life. Stella Adler advocates for the independent actor who brings a specific aim to his or her art and adheres to his or her ideals. Only actors who respect themselves are able to bring true passion into acting. To that end, it is the actor’s responsibility to bring a script to life and breathe new life into the role, while respecting the author’s artistic vision. Bringing his or her own experiences to the forefront, the actor is empowered to represent the rich nature of humanity and make a character multidimensional and believable. In other words, the audience can relate to the character either directly or indirectly through shared human experience.
